Air india Inventory is accessible only through Galileo Travelport GDS
Involuntary Time change revalidation/reissue – by schedule change revalidation/reissue is not necessary but only in case of misconnection of the flight.
Change of reservation – in GDS AI penalty charge has to be charged as XP taxe otherwise fare conditions should apply.
Refund – refund for ticket with domestic and international segment – most restrictive rule apply.
Non refundable fares – Fuel surcharge taxes remains non refundable (infos according to GDS fare rules description).
Name change by Air India is permitted. In cases of Spelling Mistakes (viz. Point No. 6), the Name Correction is permitted for a maximum of up to 3 Characters against the Fees. More infirmation are abilable in NAME CORRECTION POLICY .
Combination with other airline e-tickets no in same booking is not allowed by Air India.

Air India offers feeders flights from Zürich, Basel and Geneva (with Swiss, Lufthansa and Austrian airlines) over the AI hubs (Frankfurt, Vienna, Milano, Paris, London) operated by Air India Boeing 737 – Dreamliner to Delhi and Mumbai.

Baggage allowance on all Air India flights
Hand luggage weight allowance (Code shared and feeder ex Switzerland) is of 8 kg Carry on baggage (Height 55 cms (22 inches) + Length 35 cms (14 inches) + Width 25 cms (10 inches) for Boeing & Airbus aircraft – Total of Dimensions 115 cms.
Checked luggage weight allowance – Economy (valid for code shared and feeder flights ex. Switzerland) is of 2 x 23 kg (2 PC ) for adult and child, for an infant is of 1 x 10 kg.
Checked luggage weight allowance – Business (valid for all code shared and feeder flights ex Switzerland) is of 2 x 32 kg (2 PC ) for adult passengers.
Baggage Dimensions for First and Business
- The sum of the 3 dimensions (length + breadth + height) must not exceed 62 inches or 158 centimetres for each piece.
- The maximum weight permissible for a single piece of baggage is 32 kgs. or 70 pounds.
Baggage Dimensions for Economy
- The sum of the dimensions (length plus breadth plus height) of both the pieces when added together, must not exceed 107 inches. Also, the linear dimension of each piece should not exceed 62 inches.
- The weight of each bag must not exceed 23 Kgs or 50 pounds.
Churn booking – Any passenger booking seen 6 or more times will be liable for cancellation of all existing bookings, with appropriate cost recovery and penal action. Churning refers to repeated canceling and rebooking of same itinerary in the same or different classes of service across one or more PNRs or GDS/CRSs. Churning is often done to circumvent ticketing time limits. The reason for Air India to charge for the churnings above the set limit is because, it blocks Air India inventory from other prospective passengers leading to revenue loss.
